Top 10 reasons to study abroad!

¡Hola dear ones! We are not talking at all long around the hot mush, but present you here and now the most important reasons why such a study abroad is worthwhile and why you should overcome yourselves to dare this experiment.

1. Get to know new country + culture

Finally packing, getting on the plane and off we go. The first step is done, you enter foreign soil and can get to know a new country. Discover a new culture, different habits and traditions. Maybe the food is better, you suddenly change your clothes or you don’t live in the Ruhr area in Germany anymore, but now on the beach in Spain! Studying abroad like this can make dreams come true.

2. More friends on Facebook!

The best thing about studying abroad is that you make new contacts. Not knotting, no, you really knot them. Already alone, if you are sitting in the lectures, living in a flat-sharing community, just snowing in at the bakery around the corner or standing at the bus stop – you get to know new people. And once you get to know them, true friendships come into being that last a lifetime. Even after your studies, it is very likely that contact will continue. Bonus: Visits after graduation ensure you and each other a free place to sleep ;)

3. Learn the language

Sure, it’s hard to get started. Especially if you need to fox your way into a new language. However, this is worth its weight in gold, because after a certain period of time you automatically speak and master the language and thus come out of your body. Basic knowledge of a foreign language is usually sufficient, as you learn new words every day and can use them very quickly. You need it to for trading Forex.

4. Finally independently!

Since you are no longer surrounded by (annoying) parents or siblings, you can determine your everyday life yourself. Finally only eat your favourite meals, don’t put everything away or be present at the best parties. And if one day there should be a visit at the door – a broom and the closet are best suited for emergencies!

5. New personality

At the beginning you may not even be aware that you change during your stay abroad. You make your own decisions, be more open, be braver and also grow up. You start your own life and have to set your own priorities, take responsibility for your studies and for yourself.

6. Satisfy the desire to travel

Just the idea that you can study in Great Britain, the USA, Sweden or even Finland – a dream! As a rule, you have enough time to travel the country and explore all the sights during the semester break or directly after your studies. So adventurers kill two birds with one stone, what a luxury!

7. Recreational activities

When it comes to leisure activities, studying abroad can also offer you a lot. For example, you can continue to pursue your interests or discover new hobbies for yourself. Together with new friends the whole thing is also much more fun.

8th Dream course

In Germany it may happen that the desired degree programme does not exist in the form in which it was imagined. But you may also simply like the structure of studying at a foreign university better. Studying abroad can give you completely new insights with completely different focal points.

9th Numerus Clausus – it is quickly forgotten!

Some of us may be frightened of exams, or we may be afraid of the Abis – Hust! – on rotten skin, didn’t get a very good grade point average. It might be worth taking a look across national borders: Instead of the Numerus Clausus, you can often score points abroad with letters of motivation, written entrance examinations or personal interviews.

10. Later job -> plus!

When you applied for a job, at the latest, you did everything right with your studies abroad. Who does not like to read through the fact that the applicant completed his studies in a foreign country and was thus able to gain a lot of experience and learn the language? You stand out and make yourselves special. For example at Karamba. Find more in this Karamba sports review.
